From Syrian Perspective with the comment:
- This is the Syrian Arab Army offensive in the Qalamoon Mountains. A little over 17,000 ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists are under siege with no area to retreat. Explanation: The terrorists are surrounded on both sides. After the recent defeat in Sadad (Homs Governate), the insurgency is surrounded by SAA brigades comprised of the 1st Army Corps, 4th Mechanized Division, and the Revolutionary Guards. On the Lebanese border, Hezbollah soldiers from Ba'albak have obstructed the retreat. This battle will not end like Al-Qusayr; either the terrorists surrender or face annihilation.

Leith on update of April 16:
- You all asked for it and now I am presenting it. This will likely be my last map of the Qalamoun Mountains and Zabadani region of Rif Dimashq. If you followed my maps since the inception of this battle, you can see the amazing progress of the SAA and Hezbollah forces. I hope these maps helped immensely. I am now shifting a lot of my attention to Aleppo.
